I have a dream, a mission...I want to have something that brings an Art In Healthcare to the United State. In so many areas we have been forerunners but not so much in the area of using art to help in every aspect of health and well-being including health care, Mental Health care and healing.
There is already Paintings In Hospitals and Art In Healthcare in the U.K.
Paintings In Hospitals started back in the late 50’s and Art In Healthcare was a part of Paintings In Hospitals for many years before branching off on its own.
These are both two wondourful, all encompassing Organizations that promote every aspect of Art and healing, whether it be Artists showing their work in Medical or Hospital settings, sales of the work, available classes in all forms of art therapy and more.
